Maryland's Capital Budget Map
This interactive map of Maryland’s FY2014 Capital Budget allows you to see how capital dollars will be spent across the State of Maryland to construct public schools, roads, parks and libraries.
This interactive map identifies most, but not all, major capital expenditures. Some projects, such as investment in the MARC train system, are statewide and cannot be tied to a specific location. For this reason, totals attributed to counties are not complete. PDFs listing statewide projects are available through links within the map application (under the information tab). Also, capital budgets are planned in five year increments, meaning that a single fiscal year offers only a piece of the total picture. For the authoritative account on Maryland’s 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and Maryland’s Consolidated Transportation Plan (CTP) and all capital expenditures, please visit the Department of Budget and Management’s website and the Department of Transportation’s website.
